NYSE-listed gaming giant Super Group to establish its new London hub at St Pancras Campus
Super Group (NYSE: SGHC) will establish a new London hub for its group at St Pancras Campus, a new mixed-use development in Camden by developer W.RE.
Super Group is expected to be the anchor tenant in the building and move to the site in 2025.
Reflecting the changing ways of working, the new offices will incorporate carefully designed collaborative spaces and exceptional amenities including baristas and private fitness and wellness spaces, to boost productivity.
St Pancras Campus was designed by Stirling Prize winning architects Caruso St John and is their first commercial project in London. The mixed-use development offers 130,000 sq ft of offices, 27,000 sq ft of light industrial space, two retail units and 34 apartments of which 15 are designated as affordable housing. The entire complex is clustered around a new pocket park. The office space itself is designed to the highest standard. A central core arrangement ensures that floors are flooded with natural light from every aspect. Extensive terracing and a communal rooftop are also available for the use of tenants.
In line with Super Group’s own environmental standards, St Pancras Campus uses on-site energy generation to help power the all-electric buildings, while heating is provided via air-source heat pumps. The building is targeting an EPC A and BREEAM Excellent rating and is WELL enabled.
The campus, located between Kings Cross and Camden Town, lies at the heart of London’s Knowledge Quarter that has established itself as one of Europe’s leading innovation districts. The area has an unrivalled transport infrastructure providing ideal connections to the rest of London and beyond. World-leading anchor institutions and globally renowned companies such as Google, Universal Music, and Meta mix well with the high-quality public realm, and a 24/7 culture of food and beverage.
Sascha Lewin, CEO of W.RE, said: “We are extremely proud of what we are delivering at St Pancras Campus, and the commitment from a global market leader such as Super Group is a testament to the vision and to the hard work our team to deliver a truly world-class development and a workplace fit for the future.
“At the heart of the Knowledge Quarter, this state-of-the-art space will be a genuine innovation and development campus which we believe will attract further world class occupiers proud to call it home.”
Neal Menashe, CEO of Super Group, said: “By moving to St Pancras Campus we have the opportunity to establish a new Camden hub that offers an amenity rich, inclusive, and collaborative environment to our teams with excellent wellness and sustainability credentials.
Super Group is expected to move to the site in 2025.
St Pancras Campus incorporates an additional 65,000 sq ft of office space plus a further 27,000 sq ft designated for light industrial and workshop purposes. This mixed-use design aims to create an adaptable campus that can accommodate knowledge- and creativity-based industries equally well.
W.RE is being advised by RX London and Cushman & Wakefield on the commercial leasing activity at St Pancras Campus.
